Sarah studied at MMU on an Interactive Arts degree for 2 years and completed her final year on the Fine Arts Degree at UON. Whilst working as a drawing tutor she completed her Further Education Teacher Training at Moulton College and subsequently worked at UON as a Foundation Art and Design print tutor and a textile technician before she moved to Scotland for 14 years.

Whilst she was there Sarah worked freelance on a variety of jobs for the Scottish Opera and for the film industry. 

 Sarah also taught at the Glasgow School of Art on the Open Studio Life Drawing courses and completed a year at the Glasgow Academy of Fine Arts before moving back to Northampton.

Her first love is drawing from life, however she also enjoys exploring other creative avenues such as experimenting with mixed media, texture and collage and finding ways of overlapping her interests.  

Currently Sarah teaches an on-line, weekly Art Session focusing on developing clients artistic confidence and skills with a variety of drawing techniques and projects. These sessions provide a personal,friendly space for adults to engage with supported creative activities.  

Her personal aim is to combine her love of drawing using materials she has around her and to continue developing her skill sets through taking part in courses and through my own daily practice. Recently Sarah has been inspired to indulge her love of birds and recycling materials with her collection of bird collages.
