Kat Lendacka is a linocut printmaker (also a graphic designer and an illustrator). She was born in a small beautiful old town Litomerice, in the Czech Republic. After a false start studying Science in Prague, she somehow found herself at Northampton University studying Graphic Design and Illustration. Her home now is rural Northamptonshire, where she lives with her little family and the loveliest whippet, Spot. Her work mainly features nature and wildlife but is also influenced by nostalgia for her first home country, its folklore, storytelling and incredible architecture. She hand burnishes or uses a roller press.
